Toronto and Québec City — October 9, 2025 — IAC and 2 Degrés today announced a partnership to equip Québec cleantech ventures with the intellectual property (IP) tools they need to grow. The collaboration connects participants in 2 Degrés programs with IAC membership opportunities so they can access IP programs designed to support their internal IP capacity.

The partnership will provide early-stage ventures with foundational IP literacy and growth-stage teams with strategic IP support.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with CAI to strengthen our support for cleantech startups in the field of intellectual property. By deepening our expertise, we’re empowering them to better protect and secure their innovations for the future.” said Rosalie Simard, Director, Projects and Partnerships at 2 Degrés.

“By working with 2 Degrés, we’re giving Québec cleantech companies the tools to use IP as a driver of growth, not just protection,” said Ashley Hobb, VP, External Relations at IAC.

IAC brings national experience delivering business-centric IP programs including access to funding, IP insurance, IP education, IP intelligence, and a cleantech patent portfolio. 2 Degrés is a key player in Québec’s cleantech ecosystem, supporting and accelerating early-stage cleantech projects and startups through specialized programs. With the support of a dedicated community of entrepreneurs, partners, and investors, 2 Degrés promotes collaboration, access to resources, and the visibility of innovative, high-impact projects.
